- We have kept our appointment, and that's an end to that. We are not saints, but we have kept our appointment. How many people can boast as much? (Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot)

Invitation
- You are all invited to a party on June 23rd, 2006 7:30 PM, at the Luna Magica Guest House in Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu, South India. It is not necessary to RSVP, unless you would like to be met at the airport in Chennai before hand. This will be a time to share ideas about the possibilities of the guest house, and just hang out and explore a little of India. Come just for a vacation, for a lark, or because life is short and an adventure here and there gives us stories to tell later on. Come for two weeks, three months, or get an open ticket.

Agenda
Tim says:
- I am not going to have a set plan, rather suggestions and possibilities. It takes a few days to simply settle in, to realize where you are, and that this is real, or at least as real as it gets. My Indian friends there will take care of any day trips you may want to make to temples, or any of the many sights. I trust that the conversations in the evening will be rich with magic, the sounds of the surf in the background; this is when things will be fleshed out, the foundations laid. One morning we can casually meander over to see the various proposed plots of land, or visit the lawyer or do any number of small tasks people think need doing.
- At one point, if people want to, we could take a train up the east coast, stopping off at Puri, Calcutta and make our way eventually to Varanasi, the holiest city in India. We can visit the Standing Baba, who is swanky indeed.
Todd says:
- When we are in Mamallapuram I'd like to organize a little fact-finding field trip to Auroville. Maybe we can get a chauffeured bus for the day.
