A wiki is a collaborative hypertext editor, allowing people to work together in creating and editing searchable, interlinked documents with a minimum of technical overhead.
The Shunpiker wiki is intended to support the planning and organization of the Shunpiker Guest House project. It uses MediaWiki software, the same software which powers Wikipedia.

How can I start a new article?
There are at least two ways to do this:
- Create a wiki link using the title of the new article (e.g.: [[Guesthouse:New Article|New Article]]) in the body of an article that already exists. This link will be displayed in red. When you click on it, you can start to edit the new article.
- Search on the title of the article you would like to create. On the search results page, you will see thist text: "no page with this exact title exists." Click on this exact title to edit the new article.

Who can edit the wiki?
Anyone with a Shunpiker wiki account can add or edit the wiki. Account registration is open, although this can be restricted if it becomes a problem.
